Simple fees,

powerful match funding

Fundraising with Big Give is free, and we work with Stripe to keep the cost of donation processing as low as possible. That means we rely on the generosity of people who donate on the platform to leave a voluntary tip, which we use to cover the costs of running our platform. These tips also enable us to double the difference onwards by providing match funding to charities to help launch their campaigns.

Our platform supports all UK-registered charities with a Charity Commission, OSCR or NI Charity Commission number, or charities with tax-exempt status. For most of our campaigns, we require charities to have an annual income of at least £25,000 (as per the last filed accounts on the Charity Commission).

Please click the ‘charity login’ button in the top right corner of the webpage. When you get to the login page, you’ll see an option that says ‘forgotten password’, allowing you to update your login details. If you’re having issues accessing your account, please contact hello@biggive.org

Charities may use our platform to raise unrestricted funds if they meet our campaign eligibility requirements. If a charity is raising funds for a specific project, in that case, any funds received during a Big Give match funding campaign are restricted to the information outlined in the application until the charity has hit their target. If a charity receives additional online donations after hitting its target, these funds may be unrestricted.

Funders, who we call Champions and pledgers.

A pledger can be anyone in the charity’s network. This may include a trustee, foundation, trust, company, volunteer, high-net-worth individual and others.
