'Forever Hampshire'Appeal
Time is running out, we need to raise £350,000 for Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton or we will have to give the match funding back to the Government.
We need you to help us. We know the people of Hampshire are generous people they raise money for lots of causes but a lot of money raised by Hampshire people goes out of the County – the money we are raising is specifically to help Hampshire charities and community groups, and with an uncertain future ahead for many of them we are keen not to lose this available money.
The Government Grassroots Endowment Challenge will match fund £1 for £1 anything put into the local Endowment fund as long as it is not statutory money.

The Grassroots Endowment Challenge for Portsmouth is an exciting opportunity to double the impact of charitable giving that strengthens your local community.
Between 2008 and 2011, because of a special government incentive, every £1 that you give will be matched by a special government incentive so that it is worth £2.56. If you are a higher rate tax payer you may claim tax relief so the gift only costs you 75p - more than trebling your impact.
