Community Connections exists to support disadvantaged and isolated people and groups and promote Community development and involvement in decision making and encourage local people to become more involved in their community to improve quality of life, aspiration and civic pride. We do this by working in partnership to alleviate the poverty and disadvantages that create barriers to community involvement and opportunities.
Community Connections work involves a wide range of initiatives including Health in the Community; Capacity Building Training; Access to Acreditation for Voluntary and Community Sector. (PAAVS) and Gaining Access to Training and Employment.
