Werewolves of London Special Ice Hockey Club

Mission Statement

A special needs ice hockey club for children and adults with learning disabilities such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Down's Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder and other developmental disabilities. This is an exciting programme based on mainstream ice hockey training which caters for absolute beginners who wish to learn to skate right through to those who develop skills to the point where they can join mainstream ice hockey clubs or qualify as a volunteer coach.

Aims are to achieve greater social inclusion, wellbeing, and quality of life for children and adults with learning disabilities by providing an opportunity to participate in a challenging sport adapted for special needs. The programme is non-contact and non-competetive with an emphasis on having fun.
