The Prospects Foundation is Hyndburn's community-owned environmental charity. We support local disadvantaged communities to develop and deliver their own solutions to environmental problems, including projects which help alleviate climate change.
We work to five themes of sustainability:
Biodiversity - protecting and enhancing local wildlife and plant life
Energy - home and community energy efficiency and use of renewables
Sustainable Transport - encouraging cycling, walking and public transport
Waste and Recycling - reducing, reusing and recycling our waste
Local Food - community growing more local organic food.
