The Albany

Mission Statement

The Albany is an arts centre in Deptford, South East London. It has a strong commitment to working collaboratively with local communities, emerging artists and producers to encourage participation, especially by young people, in the arts through education, training and community programmes.

The Albany has four performance spaces, including a unique elliptical central space, two studios and a café bar stage. The programme encompasses a range of theatre, music, dance, spoken word and comedy. As well as programming performances, it is an artistic and community resource with rehearsal, workshop and meeting spaces plus a Pro Tools sound studio. The Albany is home to a further 14 arts and community organisations.
