Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity offers support to cancer patients, their families and friends. We provide counselling, support groups and complementary therapies through our Cancer Care Centres, which have been described by patients as peaceful retreats.
We fund research nurses caring for patients on clinical drug trials. The trials allow cancer sufferers’ access to pioneering new treatments not currently available on the NHS. Patients can access 24-hour medical advice through their named research nurse.
In addition, we fund ground-breaking studies into cancer at our research laboratory in Essex.
The charity does not recieve any government or lottery funding.
