Mission Statement
Young Enterprise Scotland's mission is "to inspire and prepare all young people to succeed in a global economy".
We work with young people aged 5-25 from all over Scotland, engaging with them wherever they may be found - whether this is in school, in secure residential units or in young offender institutions.
We deliver enterprise programmes aimed at linking the business world with education and in recent years we have successfully developed and delivered learning programmes that also enable the acquiring of employability skills.
YES provides a real life learning experience of operating a business which might stimulate the future generations of self employed workers. Our programmes also help young people develop their communication, literacy, numeracy, IT and team work skills, which can help them to find employment in the future.
More information on all our programmes can be found on our website http://www.yes.org.uk .
