Founded 2004
TVS volunteers work in a rural area of the Eastern Cape to overcome the legacy of apartheid and develop the educatational opportunities available to children and young people.
Since our registration four years ago we have organised study camps for over 300 children, organised partnerships with UK schools, run workshops for teachers, set up a computer lab and opened a Learning and Resource Centre - all on a shoe string.
We are committed to using volunteers, working with local organisations and sharing experience and expertise.
