Carers Network Westminster

Mission Statement

There are over 12,500 people in Westminster who provide essential care and support to a partner, relative or friend who would otherwise need some form of residential care. Many carers say how rewarding their role can be. However, caring can also cause loneliness, isolation, ill health and poverty. Most carers do not receive any support in their caring role.

Carers Network Westminster provides carers with the information, advice and support that they need to continue caring with confidence, to have a life of their own outside of caring and to claim their own voice and make themselves heard.

Due Diligence on the Big Give

Donors are advised to conduct their own due diligence prior to giving to a charity. For advice and key questions to ask charities, see Philanthropy UK's advice on giving.
