Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency
Mission Statement
Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency (MVDA) is the Primary Infrastructure Organisation for the voluntary and community sector in Middlesbrough. Our role is to support, promote and develop local voluntary and community action, and we do this in a range of ways.
We offer practical support to the VCS including help around setting up and running a group, business planning, charity registration, funding and income generation, finances, policies and procedures. We run a volunteer service, which promotes volunteering. We support the sector to engage at a strategic level, particularly in our role as Responsible Body for developing Middlesbrough Community Network, the organisational structure through which the VCS engages in the Local Strategic Partnership. We support the development of various sub-networks, employing a dedicated worker for the Lesbian and Bisexual Women's Network. We also run other projects and services, including financial support services.
Due Diligence on the Big Give
