RSPCA (National Society)
Mission Statement
The RSPCA is the world’s oldest and best-known animal welfare organisation. Established in 1824, the RSPCA was incorporated by an Act of Parliament in 1932 to protect all animals - companion, farm, research and wild animals.
We provide animal rescue and re-homing centres across England and Wales, animal hospitals in vital locations, educational programmes for pet owners and the next generation, campaigning and parliamentary activity to keep animal welfare on local and national agendas and at our heart are our front line men and women - the inspectorate.
The RSPCA operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and in spite of the charity's excellent work we receive no government or lottery funding or assistance.
