Ilsington Village Hall
Mission Statement
We are a rural village hall run by a commitee of volenteers. Our job is to look after the village hall so it is availiable to be used by the whole community. We have to keep it up to date , safe and clean, so that all the hall users can use it.
It is at present used every day by two to three user groups. The local school uses it as they do not have a hall so they have there PE and all activities in the hall that needs space. The pre school use the hall 5 mornings a week for children two and a half to five.We have childrens and boys dance groups , Guides and Brownies, Youth Club, Bands , The local Church and activities groups all of which use the hall in the evenings The village hall also has a community computer that is availiable for use by all of the local community. We have recently lost our Village shop, so we are now trying to raise funds to build a new Community Shop at the village hall, and an additional room on the hall that will be availiable to hire when the main hall is in use.
