RedR helps to rebuild people’s lives by providing international aid workers with the skills they need to make a difference. We deliver expert training programmes in the UK and in disaster affected areas and run recruitment services to place emergency and permanent personnel when and where they are needed. We also provide online expertise to aid workers on assignment and support a network of professionals vital to relief and development work.
In its 27 year history, RedR has placed engineers, health professionals and other technical experts in response to major catastrophes including the Ethiopian famine, the Rwandan Genocide and the Pakistan Earthquake. We currently run programmes in Sudan and Sri Lanka, through which we focus on the long-term needs of the region, helping local communities to rebuild their livelihoods and to prepare for future emergencies.
