UNICEF UK
Mission Statement
UNICEF was established in 1946 to meet the emergency needs of children in post-war Europe and China. Today, UNICEF is the only global organisation working specificially for children and their rights. We work with families, local communities, partners and governments in more than 150 countries to help every child realise their full potential.
We support children by providing healthcare, nutrition and education. We protect children affected by crises including war, natural disasters and HIV/AIDS.
Alongside raising funds, UNICEF works in the UK to change attitudes and win support for children's rights worldwide by campaigning on UK and international children's issues.
